Epochal events in human history are often memorialized by the locations in which they took place. Lexington. Yorktown. Gettysburg. Kitty Hawk. Woodstock. Perhaps future historians will refer to the upcoming Conscious Capitalism event in November as the Austin Event – where the idea of capitalism as a powerful tool for solving many of society’s biggest problems gained the traction to blossom into a vibrant, full-blown movement – the Conscious Capitalism movement. In any event, the 120 or so people who will convene the Catalyzing Conscious Capitalism Event in Austin on November 6, 2008 will be making history. Some of the most creative minds in business today will take the first steps to more completely fulfill Adam Smith’s vision of capitalism as a mighty force for propelling a society toward its greatest potential.

This is an invitation only event and will be limited to 130 participants. The event fee is $1,800. Total price includes event fee plus room and meals, or commuter fee.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you need to cancel your reservation prior to the event, following is the cancellation policy for the event.

• You can transfer your registration (including event and lodging fees) to someone else whom you identify and pay no penalty. We do, however, reserve the right to approve who you select, as this is an invitation only event.
• After we have sold out the event, we will have a waiting list. If you need to cancel for any reason, once we have started a waiting list, at your request, we will accept someone from the waiting list to take your place and refund your registration fees. You will receive this consideration on a first come first serve basis.
• If for whatever reason you do not receive a reimbursement on your registration fee, 100% of the amount you paid will be eligible for a tax-deductible contribution to a public charity.
